We just need to give them opportunities by preparing an environment (including the human element – our attitudes, words, and actions) in which they can enhance their natural development and fulfill their own potential.
Parenthood also brings many challenges. Based on my own experience and feedback from parents, I’ve found that an understanding of some of the basic developmental attributes can be empowering. It can enhance your empathy and enable you to handle and respond to challenging situations with more confidence.
